Features

12V DC TRIGGER TERMINAL: for simple system control.

RS-232C AND/OR RS-422A INTERFACE: for system integration and full function automated control.

RUGGED ALUMINUM CHASSIS: for a high level of durability in rental, staging and event applications.

A WIDE RANGE OF OPTIONAL LENSES ARE AVAILABLE: allowing the VPL-FX200U to conform to a wide variety of applications. One of the lenses, the VPLL-Z2019 1.3 times zoom standard focal length lens, is designed to allow the VPL-X2000U to fit in applications where a CRT projector has been previously installed. The throw distance for the VPLL-Z2019 should roughly approximate that of most CRT projectors. The VPL-X2000U does not come with a lens. An optional lens must be purchased and installed in order to project an image.

POWER LENS ZOOM, FOCUS AND LENS SHIFT (IMAGE SHIFT) CONTROL: for quick, precise set up even when the unit(s) are installed in an inaccessible location.

SYSTEM EXPANDABILITY: is also possible due to the two open slots on the VPL-FX200U and through the combination of Sony IFB interface boards, SIC cables and the new PC-3000 signal interface switcher. Once again this shows the VPL-FX200U's versatility by allowing the projectors use in a wide array of applications.

FULL FUNCTION WIRELESS REMOTE COMMANDER UNIT:The RM-PJ1001 is a standard accessory for convenient control of the projector with a back light and direct access keys for many of the projectors features.

7 LANGUAGE, ICON ORIENTED ON SCREEN DISPLAY (OSD): for easy set up and control of the projector no matter where in the world it is used.

TWO CARRYING HANDLES AND EASY ADJUSTMENT LEGS: with pop out cranks allows quick and easy set up.

AUTO PIXEL ALIGNMENT (APA): A Sony original technology in the form of a unique algorithm which allows for very easy set up. Connect a computer signal source and press the APA button on either the projector or the remote, and the projector will optimize itself for that signal by aligning the image pixels with the panel. No complicated adjustments are required.

DESKTOP, CEILING AND REAR PROJECTION: capable for use in any environment.

HIGH BRIGHTNESS OUTPUT OF 3100 ANSI LUMENS:from the use of a Sony designed optical system incorporating a unique quadruple lamp assembly that provides redundancy in a single projector and 3 Sony produced 1.8" polysilicon LCD panels. This allows use in a tremendous variety of applications in fixed installation and medium to large venue use. The projector can also be triple stacked (with the optional SU-PJ2000 stacking stand) for increased brightness and redundancy for rental, staging and event applications.

SONY'S 3D GAMMA CORRECTION: Provides incredible brightness and color uniformity performance from an LCD projector with virtually no discernable difference from corner to corner on the screen, even with the largest of screen sizes. This provides a truly pleasing viewing experience for the audience.

SONY'S DIGITAL REALITY CREATION (DRC) AND A 3D COMB FILTER: combine to provide excellent video images from conventional video signals without the need for expensive optional image enhancing accessories such as line doublers.

A WIDE RANGE OF SIGNALS CAN BE ACCEPTED: Providing the flexibility for the VPL-FX200U to perform in a corresponding wide range of applications. Composite video, Y/C video, Component (Y/R-Y/B-Y), RGB and HDTV (1125/60 SMPTE 240M and 1920/1080 (60Hz) SMPTE 274M) signals can be accepted and displayed.
